Why play for CFC Samba?

Facilities

CFC park is the finest soccer facility in the Southern portion of Connecticut, boasting a 65,000 square foot indoor center and two full size turf fields.

Staff

CFC Samba will be headed up by Division 1 Quinnipiac University Men's Soccer Coach Graciano Brito and Everson Soccer's Jadir Barbosa.

The CFC Pathway

CFC is the most successful club in Connecticut because we have created a  distinct pathway for our players to move up through the CFC pyramid depending upon their ability and desire.

At U8-U12 the CFC Samba program will act as one of the feeder teams to CFC United.

At U13 we will select the best of our Samba players and place them on CFC United. CFC United is the Highest level of soccer in the club and is comprised of the top players from all the various CFC teams Statewide (Think of it like a CFC ODP program). CFC United play in the ECNL which on the girls side is the highest level of soccer in the Nation and on the Boys side it is quickly developing into the place to play to be seen by college coaches as you can still play High School soccer and Elite club soccer.

Players who do not make CFC United will continue to play for Samba and will work with our staff to find colleges that are a perfect fit for their playing ability. This year alone we have sent 42 players to Division 2 and Division 3 colleges.

CFC has sent over 200 (yes TWO HUNDRED!) players to colleges in the past 3 years alone, many of which received substantial scholarships to some of the Nation's finest schools.
Our staff include coaches from Princeton University, Yale University, Sacred Heart University, Post University, Central Connecticut State University, Quinnipiac University, Mercy College, AIC, Springfield College and the University of Bridgeport.

ALL CFC ECNL teams are coached by current college coaches!
